Let me address something here...point out something...some...oh hierocracy maybe but laziness mostly.

Let's all just for a moment stop thinking everyone else is an asshole.  Liberals are not all secretly yearning for communism, conservatives are not all secretly plotting towards a religious government doctrine.

whether you want to accept it or not your fellow man is not a idiot (usually) he's not an asshole (usually).  when you break it down, no one wants to see people starve, or jobless, or in need of health care, or oppressed.  the argument among THINKERS is how to avoid such things.  It's that simple.  Conservatives by and large believe in the capitalist system...which while it can ultimately solve almost every problem...works slowly in many cases and requires the consumers to pay attention to what they buy, where it came from, who owns the company that created it, and purchase it's or a competitors produce based on that info...thereby driving cost down and quality up and punishing assholes and companies of ill repute.

Liberals by and large look to the government to fix things...while in theory this should work just fine it never does because it requires the citizens to pay attention to who is voting for what, what is actually in a bill called the "happy happy joy joy bill", and vote accordingly each and every election for each and every office.

so...both have their pitfalls.  i tend to side towards capitalism because so far in the course of human history no population has had to take up arms against a department store.  or had a fast food franchise slaughter them based of their race, creed, or lifestyle.

So...keeping in mind that we can agree to disagree and it is VITAL that the few of us who actually THINK and PAY ATTENTION, not get lazy and used.  let me say this.

you simply scrolling through the internet and finding news stories that back up your views and reposting them everywhere is NOT USEFULL. IT IS NOT ACTIVISM, IT IS NOT COMMENDABLE...IT IS LAZY...and it merely makes you a bigger TOOL than the people who don't pay any attention at all.

I realize that i am offending 75% of my readers right now but suck it up this if for OUR OWN GOOD.  STOP AND THINK before you cut and paste a link to a story about George Bush worshiping Hitler's ghost, or Obama demanding that his daily serving of mashed potatoes be sculpted into a bust of Stalin. This are OBVIOUS EXAMPLES of stories that are horseshit and biased.  but 90% of the links you people are reposting are also horseshit and biased...though not as obvious.  so stop and think before you repost...analyze...does this make any sense?  is this a credible source? Is this a factual story or a big fat load of opinion wrapped in two sentences worth of facts.

You can do this right?  that's not so hard, is it? if it is too hard than admit to yourself that you are a patsy, a tool, a useful idiot, one step above a parrot.  

now i don't know if you know this...if you people watch any movies or read any fiction, but in order for the bad guy to achieve any amount of success he has to convince people he is a good guy.  in order for someone to use you they have to pretend they are on your side.  in order for someone to lie to you they have to convince you that they are honest...you follow me?

believe it or not there are people out there posing as Liberals just to make a buck...or to gain power, ever though they don't give a rats ass about any of the things you true liberals do. the same goes for conservatives...or do i need to remind you of the glut of con men who made $$$ pretending to be evangelists in the 80's or for that matter all the "priests" who did Lord knows what to innocent kids.  

Bad men have to pretend to be good.

And you all blindly reposting horseshit...no matter how much it seems to back up your own views, makes you an accomplice.

Here's what I'd like you all to do, you serial posters out there...find a story that seems to back up your views...and find the flaws in it.  it's not hard, i do it all the time. it keeps me honest, it's a TRUE way to be informed and a step above the mouth breathers who don't know what's going on. 

each side has people who are full of shit. people who's arguments and information is full of holes. this is an easy assignment. all you have to do is keep thinking past "hey that sounds good!" and think "but what are the after affects?" or "but what if i look at these "facts" a bit further" OR EVEN "WHERE DID THIS INFORMATION COME FROM?"

You want to pat yourself on the back daily for being informned and spreading the word...EARN that pat on the back by being credible and filter out the HORSESHIT instead of BLINDLY  puking back up whatever the shiniest link is at www.tell me what i want to hear .com

Being a cynic i feel that only 10% of you will actually do this i will send an inked sketch on a postcard to EVERYONE who sends a link that SEEMS to back up their views and then pokes holes in it.
