A WORD FROM OUR FOUNDER
"the key is not to panic "
In alot of ways making a cartoon is alot easier than a comic book. I don't have to worry about using panels to set up pacing or leading the eye or fitting everything on a page. In fact plotting this bastard out moves so fast i'm rapidly confusing the shit out of myself. somewhere in the inner workings of my brain some synapses floated up a memory of a "making of Indiana jones" special i saw when i was like ten. In this blurry flash of memory was a big board with all sorts of storyboards attached to it, and Harrison Ford and someone else was pontificating on the scene. To borrow a quote from Ron Burgundy "when in rome"...so i built myself a storyboard wall.
pretty snazzy Huh? I even found some wheels to stick on the bugger so i could roll it out of my way only to roll it back when it was in my way seconds later. I think if i get big in Hollywood somehow i will try to shmooze the carpenters on the studio set and see if i can get a side job as an apprentice or something. as for how the cartoon is going...GREAT!...uhm...anybody know what order all these squares go in?
